Fitment Notes

Product Description

The GiroDisc D1-268 is a pair of 356 mm front replacement rotor rings for the GiroDisc A1-268 two-piece front rotor kit fitted to the 2023+ Toyota GR Corolla and 2020+ Toyota GR Yaris. The GiroDisc two-piece system is engineered from the outset for long-term serviceability: the black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum hat and floating hardware - spring clips and Belleville washers - are fully reusable across multiple ring service cycles, while only the cast iron rings need replacement when worn or cracked. Installing D1-268 rings and reusing the existing A1-268 aluminum hats represents a significant cost saving versus replacing complete rotor assemblies, particularly for GR Corolla and GR Yaris owners who use their cars regularly on track.

The replacement rings are machined from GiroDisc's proprietary high-carbon iron casting, produced entirely in-house at their Bellingham, WA facility from domestically sourced materials. The 48 curved internal vanes share the same geometry as the original A1-268 rings, functioning as a centrifugal pump to pull cooling air in through the hub and drive it outward through the disc face during rotation - providing effective thermal management under the repeated hard front braking demands of circuit and hillclimb use. The slotted ring face continuously clears the pad contact zone of debris, gases, and brake dust throughout the ring's service life.

Each D1-268 set includes two rings plus complete replacement hardware - new drive pins, spring clips, Belleville washers, and fasteners - with full re-assembly instructions. Old hardware should not be reused. These rings are designed exclusively for GiroDisc A1-268 hats and are not compatible with OEM Toyota hats or any other brand's hardware.
