Product Description

The GiroDisc A1-147 two-piece front rotors deliver lightweight performance braking for Corvette C7 Z06, Grand Sport, Camaro SS 1LE, and Cadillac CTS-V owners. Each rotor weighs 1.6 lbs less than the factory unit, reducing both rotational and unsprung mass for improved acceleration response and suspension dynamics while maintaining OEM brake bias and ABS efficiency.

The aluminum hat section is machined from USA-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, while the rotor rings are cast from GiroDisc's proprietary high-carbon iron and machined in-house at their Washington state facility. The curved vane design pumps cooling air through the disc under braking, and the fully floating mount system allows thermal expansion without warping. When the rotor rings eventually wear, simply replace them with D1-147 rings while retaining the aluminum hats.
