Fitment Notes

• Does NOT fit vehicles equipped with Magnetic Ride Control (MRC) / Magnetic Suspension - the Magnetic Ride Control system uses electromagnetic dampers that are incompatible with this coilover assembly. Verify your vehicle's suspension type before ordering.
• Requires aftermarket upper control arms (UCAs) - the factory upper control arms are not long enough to accommodate the increased suspension travel at the 4-6.5 inch lift range this kit is designed for. Extended UCAs must be installed alongside this kit for proper geometry and alignment.
• Designed specifically for 4 to 6.5 inches of front lift - this is a specific-travel kit for vehicles already running or planning to run a substantial lift. For stock-to-3" lift applications, FOX offers different part numbers with shorter travel lengths.
• Coilovers are pre-set to maximum lift height out of the box - spring preload can be adjusted down from there by threading the lower spring perch collar to reduce lift height within the 4-6.5" range.
• Front position only - this kit replaces the factory front strut and spring assembly only. Rear shocks are sold separately.
• Sold as a pair - 2 complete front coilover assemblies (left and right).

• Application-specific valving - the compression and rebound valving is tuned specifically for the weight, geometry, and lift configuration of the Silverado/Sierra/Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon 1500 platform at the 4-6.5" lift range, delivering the correct balance of low-speed body control and high-speed impact compliance for this specific application rather than using a generic tune.
• 3.0" Eibach application-specific racing springs - co-developed with Eibach's motorsport spring engineering team, the coil springs installed on these units are rate-matched to the shock valving and vehicle weight distribution for this application. The 3.0" inner diameter spring mounts directly to the coilover's threaded lower perch.
• 7/8" hardened NitroSteel carbon steel shaft - the larger 7/8" shaft diameter provides significantly greater bending load resistance compared to smaller OEM shafts, and the NitroSteel (nitrogen-treated) surface hardening process creates a harder outer layer that resists scoring, pitting, and seal wear for extended service life.
• Zinc-plated and double-clear coated body - the zinc electroplating plus dual clear coat finish provides layered corrosion protection against mud, water, road salt, and trail debris, maintaining the shock body's integrity and appearance in all operating environments.

The FOX 883-02-059 is a pair of front 2.5 Factory Series coilover assemblies with external remote reservoirs, purpose-built for 2007-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2007-2014 Suburban 1500, 2007-2015 Tahoe, 2007-2018 GMC Sierra 1500, and 2007-2014 Yukon trucks and SUVs running 4 to 6.5 inches of front lift. These coilovers replace the factory front strut and spring assembly entirely, providing a single integrated unit that handles both vehicle support (via the 3.0" Eibach racing coil spring) and damping (via the FOX 2.5 monotube with external reservoir) in one bolt-on assembly. The 2.5" smooth bore seamless alloy body is substantially larger than standard OEM struts and entry-level 2.0" aftermarket shocks, providing increased piston surface area for more precise damping force control and greater thermal capacity.
