Product Description

The FOX 985-24-197 is a 2.0 Performance Series IFP smooth body front shock designed for 1992-2019 Ford E-350 and E-450 models with stock to 1.5" front lift. Covering the full range of Econoline, Club Wagon, Super Duty, cutaway, and cab-and-chassis body styles in both RWD and 4WD configurations, it is one of the most broadly applicable E-Series front shock upgrades available. The Internal Floating Piston mono-tube design keeps oil and nitrogen fully separated, delivering consistent, aeration-free damping whether loaded, unloaded, or running on rough terrain.

The 2.0" impact-extruded aluminum body dissipates heat significantly faster than steel and resists corrosion over the long service cycles typical of commercial and fleet E-Series vans. Application-specific valving provides a controlled, composed ride on both highway and off-road surfaces. Sold individually - order two for a complete front axle replacement. Factory mounting hardware is reused for installation.
