Product Description

The FOX 980-24-962 2.0 Performance Series front shock is a high-performance replacement designed for lifted GM heavy-duty trucks and SUVs with 7-9" front suspension lifts. Featuring FOX's Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design, this shock separates the nitrogen gas charge from the shock oil to reduce aeration and maintain consistent damping performance across a range of driving conditions. The race-developed high-flow piston and application-specific valving provide improved ride quality and control compared to stock shocks.

Constructed with an impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body and precision CNC-machined components, this Performance Series shock resists corrosion and dissipates heat more effectively than conventional steel units. The robust chrome-plated steel shaft and quiet nitrile rubber bushings help deliver durability, articulation, and reduced noise. This shock is ideal for drivers who want enhanced front suspension performance for lifted Chevrolet and GMC heavy-duty trucks and large SUVs.
