Product Description

The Exedy 15802 is an SFI 1.1 Certified Stage 1 organic racing clutch kit built around the shared EJ-series turbo engine and driveline spec used across the 2002-2005 Subaru WRX, 2004-2005 Forester XT, 2004-2006 Baja Turbo, 1991-1994 Legacy Sport, and the 2005 Saab 9-2X Aero -- a rebadged WRX wagon sold in North America. Exedy's Ultra-Fiber organic friction material resists slippage and burst under increased power, while a clutch cover engineered for roughly 40% more clamp load than OE gives the extra torque-holding capacity a modified engine needs.

The pressure plate is manufactured from a ductile material for high burst strength across a wide temperature range, and the clutch disc uses spring center dampers to absorb drivetrain shock, keeping drivability close to stock. Pedal feel stays approachable, making this a good fit for a daily-driven car that's seen a modest power increase, or one that simply needs a durable, street-friendly clutch upgrade.

Everything needed for installation is included -- clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, and alignment tool -- though the flywheel is not part of the kit and is reused or upgraded separately.
