Product Description

The EBC S9KR1688 is a Stage 9 rear brake kit combining Yellowstuff high-friction pads (DP43108R) with USR fine-slotted sport rotors (USR7849) for the 2019-2025 Ford Ranger equipped with the 2.3L EcoBoost or 2.7L EcoBoost V6 Twin-Turbo in XL, XLT, and Lariat trims. This kit does not fit the Ranger Raptor, which uses different rear brake components. The Yellowstuff aramid fiber pads deliver high friction from cold that progressively improves under heat, making them ideal for trucks used in towing, hauling, and spirited driving. The USR fine-slotted rotors use a narrow slot pattern that expels heat, water, and brake dust while running quieter than wide-slot designs -- fully balanced and run-out tested with Thermic Black GEOMET anti-rust coating for long-term corrosion resistance.

This Stage 9 kit saves approximately 15% over buying the pads and rotors separately and includes caliper lube for a complete installation. EBC strongly recommends that upgrade pads should not be fitted to the rear unless the same upgrade is also fitted to the front -- the matching front Yellowstuff pads are EBC DP43107R. Do not remove the Thermic Black coating from the rotors before installation -- it will wear off naturally in the pad contact area within the first 10-20 stops.
