Product Description

The EBC SR-21 sintered race pad is the high-friction flagship of EBC Racing's endurance brake lineup, engineered for serious track use on the Honda Civic Type R (FK8 and FL5), Subaru WRX STI, and Cadillac STS Brembo-equipped models. Built from compressed and heat-fused powdered metal alloys, the SR-21 compound delivers a sharp initial bite, a near-flat 0.65µ friction profile across its entire 0-925°C operating range, and ultra-low compressibility for direct, communicative pedal feedback under heavy braking.

Unlike traditional race pads that require burnishing or bedding cycles, the SR-21 works from cold and requires no chemical bedding - simply install and drive. Its transfer film technology lays a protective layer onto the rotor face, virtually eliminating disc wear while extending pad life 3-5 times beyond competitor semi-metallic compounds. EBC recommends pairing the SR-21 at the front axle with SR-11 pads at the rear for optimal balance on cars equipped with bias controls.
