The EBC DP41850R is a set of Yellowstuff 4000 Series high-friction rear brake pads for Lexus IS, GS, RC, and RX platforms as well as select Toyota Highlander and Mirai models. The aramid fiber-based Yellowstuff 1793 compound delivers a 0.60 friction coefficient with strong initial bite from cold that progressively improves under heat, providing 30-40% better braking effect than factory pads. ECE R90 brake safety approved, copper-free, and featuring EBC's Brake-In surface coating, center-line slots, and beveled edges for quiet, fade-resistant performance on fast street-driven vehicles.

EBC strongly recommends that upgrade pads should not be fitted to the rear unless the same upgrade is also fitted to the front -- the matching front Yellowstuff pads for Lexus IS/GS/RC applications are EBC DP41589R. Yellowstuff has a green fade threshold of 400°C (750°F), making it ideal for spirited street use. For dedicated track use where temperatures exceed 500-600°C, use EBC Bluestuff or RP/SR series pads instead. Bed-in period of up to 500 miles is required for full performance.
