Product Description

The EBC GD1390 is a high-performance front brake rotor set designed for BMW E60 5 Series and E63/E64 6 Series models equipped with larger OE sport braking systems. Built under EBC's GD Sport line, these rotors combine slotted and dimpled surfaces to improve braking efficiency, reduce fade, and maintain consistent stopping power under demanding driving conditions.

The slotting helps continuously clean the brake pad surface by removing gas, dust, and debris, ensuring a stronger and more consistent pad bite. The dimples help reduce surface stress compared to fully drilled rotors, improving durability while still enhancing heat dissipation. This design is especially effective for heavier executive sedans and coupes that require stable braking under repeated load.

Manufactured from OE-grade grey cast iron with a corrosion-resistant Geomet coating, the GD1390 provides long service life and reliable performance in both daily driving and spirited road use. It is intended as a direct upgrade for factory performance brake setups and should be matched carefully to vehicle-specific sport brake packages for correct fitment.
