• Does not fit 2007-2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 - GT500 uses a different rear caliper and pad application
• Does not fit 2008-2009 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR - same exclusion applies
• EBC recommends always upgrading front pads to the same or higher grade when fitting performance rear pads

Product Description

The EBC DP51741NDX Bluestuff NDX pads are a full-race rear brake compound built for the 2005-2010 Ford Mustang S197 platform, covering the V6 Base, GT, Shelby GT, and Bullitt variants equipped with 11.81 in (300mm) vented rear rotors. Running the NDX compound at 0.52 Mu, these pads deliver strong, confident rear braking with excellent cold bite and a progressive pedal feel - well suited to both aggressive street driving and weekend track events. The NUCAP NRS hook bonding system and chemical interlayer work together to keep the friction material locked to the backing plate under the sustained thermal stress that the S197's rear brakes encounter on track.

Installation is a direct bolt-in replacement requiring no modifications. EBC's pre-scorched pad surface shortens the bed-in process, letting you experience the full capability of these pads quickly and safely. Note that the Shelby GT500 and GT500KR use a different rear caliper application and are not compatible with this pad - those variants require a separate EBC part number. For all other 2005-2010 S197 Mustang models, the DP51741NDX is a proven rear upgrade that pairs naturally with the DP51740NDX front pads for a complete Bluestuff axle set.
