Fitment Notes

• Does **not** replace factory OEM electronic locker
• Does **not** fit vehicles with full-float Dana 44 HD rear axle

Product Description

The Eaton 14244-1 ELocker is a premium aftermarket electronic locking differential designed to upgrade the rear Dana 35 (M200) axle of Jeep Wranglers JL and JL Unlimited (2018 through 2025). It allows the driver to switch between an open differential for smooth, quiet driving and a fully locked state when extra traction is needed. This makes it ideal for off-road trails, towing, sand, snow, or any situation where the stock axle begins to slip. The internal gears are net-forged and the case is built with heavy-duty steel for long life. Fitment supports all OEM and aftermarket ring and pinion ratios, making it versatile for geared setups without needing additional modifications.

Installation requires removal of the stator for clearance before seating the ring gear and must be reinstalled in a specific sequence: ring gear first, then stator assembly, then bearing. Vehicles already equipped with the factory electronic locker are not replaced by this unit. Also, the Eaton 14244-1 does not support full-float Dana 44 rear axles or the Rubicon's heavy duty rear axle unless that axle matches the Dana 35 specifications (which it does not). Fitment is confirmed through 2025.
