Product Description

The Eagle CRS5232S3D is a performance connecting rod set built for Subaru's EJ-series engines (EJ18, EJ20, EJ25) widely used in Impreza, WRX, STI and some Forester models. These rods are forged from premium 4340 steel with an H-beam profile, shot-peened and finished to precise tolerances. They are longer than factory rods (5.232" center-to-center), enabling stroker or custom-piston applications where increased height is required. This also means that piston-deck clearance and piston design must be verified before installation.

The rod set includes ARP 2000 3/8-inch bolts, rod pin bushings (for full-floating pins), and matched widths and sizing to ensure consistent performance. Intended for high boost, high RPM or competition builds, these rods can sustain demanding loads. Fitment is confirmed on EJ18/EJ20/EJ25 Subaru blocks; installation requires correct bolt torque (43 ft-lbs with ARP moly lube) and verifying rotating assembly compatibility. Fitment through 2025 is expected for EJ-series engines but is unconfirmed for substantially modified or non-stock block variants.
