The DEI 50210 Boom Mat Vibration Damping Material is a 10-sheet pack of premium 2mm sound damping sheets designed to eliminate low-frequency noise, vibrations, squeaks, and rattles in automotive, marine, and commercial applications. Each 12-1/2" x 24" sheet is constructed from asphalt-free pure butyl rubber bonded to a durable 4 mil aluminum skin, delivering superior damping performance without the harmful off-gassing associated with asphalt-based alternatives. The peel-and-stick plastic release liner makes installation quick and clean on virtually any surface including metal, plastic, fiberglass, and painted panels.

Unlike lower-grade materials that require 100% panel coverage, Boom Mat is effective at just 25-50% coverage - saving weight, material cost, and installation time without sacrificing results. Ideal for doors, floors, trunks, firewalls, roofs, and wheel wells, it also functions as an excellent thermal insulator and improves overall stereo system performance by eliminating panel resonance.
