  • 1999-2002 Nissan Silvia (S15, RWD; SR20DE/SR20DET)
  • 1989-2002 Nissan Skyline (R32/R33/R34 Non-GTR - GTS, GTS-T, GTS25, GTS25T; RWD)
  • 1998-2011 Nissan Patrol (Y61, 4WD)
  • 1997-2007 Subaru Forester (AWD)
  • 1993-2004 Subaru Impreza WRX / STI (AWD)
  • 1990-2000 Subaru Legacy GT (AWD)
  • 1994-2005 Mazda Miata / MX-5 (NA/NB, RWD)
  • 1990-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T (FWD DSM; 4G63T 2.0L Turbocharged I4)

Fitment Notes

  • Fits R32/R33/R34 Skyline Non-GTR variants only - does NOT fit R32/R33/R34 GT-R (use DeatschWerks PN: 9-401-1043 for GTR fitment)
  • Fits FWD Eclipse GS-T (1990-1999) only - does NOT fit the AWD Eclipse GSX
  • The DW400 has a 46mm diameter vs the OE 39mm standard - fuel pump module modification may be required on some applications
  • The DW400 does NOT have an internal check valve - an inline check valve may be necessary for easy cold starts on some applications
  • Current draw is 16-20 amps at typical operating pressures - a 12-gauge hardwire kit is strongly recommended (DeatschWerks PN: FPHWK, sold separately)
  • Compatible with pump gas, E85, and race fuels

Features

  • Highest flowing brushed in-tank fuel pump available - 415lph at 40psi, 350lph at 80psi, 500lph open flow
  • Outflows the Walbro 450 E85 by 31% at pressures between 70-100 psi
  • Rated to 1000 HP on gasoline and 750 HP on E85
  • Turbine impeller compatible with pulse width modulated (PWM) pump drivers for quiet operation
  • Carbon commutators and fully encapsulated armature for full E85 and race fuel compatibility
  • Computer-balanced armature for reduced NVH
  • High-torque motor maintains strong flow at elevated fuel pressures
  • 3-year no-fault warranty

Product Description

The DeatschWerks 9-401-1041 is a DW400 series 415lph in-tank fuel pump with install kit, covering a broad range of popular Japanese performance platforms including the Nissan S13/S14/S15, R32/R33/R34 Non-GTR Skyline, Nissan Patrol, Subaru WRX/STI and Legacy GT, Mazda Miata/MX-5, and the FWD 1G/2G DSM Eclipse GS-T. As the highest flowing brushed in-tank pump available, the DW400 delivers 415lph at 40psi and outperforms the Walbro 450 E85 by 31% at pressures between 70 and 100 psi - the range most relevant to high-boost boosted builds. It is rated to support 1000 HP on gasoline and 750 HP on E85.

The DW400 uses a turbine impeller compatible with PWM pump drivers, carbon commutators, and a fully encapsulated armature for complete E85 and race fuel compatibility. Important installation notes: the DW400 has a 46mm diameter versus the standard 39mm OE pump, so module modifications may be required on some applications. It also has no internal check valve, so an inline check valve may be needed for reliable cold starts. Due to the 16-20 amp current draw at operating pressure, DeatschWerks strongly recommends installing the DW400 with a 12-gauge hardwire kit (PN: FPHWK, sold separately). All DW fuel pumps are backed by a 3-year no-fault warranty.
