Product Description

The DBA DB15004SP is a rear axle Street Performance brake pad set engineered specifically for the Kia Stinger GT platform (CK, 2018-2023) equipped with the 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 and its factory Brembo 2-piston rear caliper - covering all 3.3T GT trim variants (GT, GT1, GT2, GT Limited, GTS, GT Elite, and Tribute Edition) in both RWD and AWD configurations. While the Stinger GT's Brembo rear caliper is the smaller of the two Brembo units on the car, its performance characteristics share the same fundamental issue as the front: OE rear pads are widely reported to produce excessive brake dust and to develop disc thickness variation under sustained spirited driving, causing the characteristic pedal pulsation and rotor glazing experienced by many Stinger GT owners. The DB15004SP addresses both issues at the rear axle, delivering a cleaner, more consistent compound that maintains its friction output over a wider temperature range.

The SP compound operates up to 500°C (900°F) and is factory scorched to eliminate the green fade period that accelerates OE pad transfer onto rear rotors during the bedding-in phase. Application-specific chamfers and a centre temperature-stability slot are machined into each pad to manage NVH and heat, and application-specific NVH shims are factory-fitted for a rattle-free, quiet rear brake installation from day one. The copper-free semi-metallic carbon-fibre formulation is NSFI certified and runs dramatically cleaner than the OE Brembo rear compound, visibly reducing the dark dust accumulation on rear wheels and bodywork that is a well-documented ownership complaint on the Stinger GT platform.

DB15004SP replaces OEM rear pad reference 58302-J5A50 and is compatible with the 340mm Brembo 2-piston rear caliper fitted to all 3.3T Stinger GT variants 2018-2023. It does not fit the 2.0T or 2.5T Stinger GT-Line variants, which use a standard single-piston sliding rear caliper with a different pad shape. Confirm rear caliper type before ordering.
