The Cusco 232 540 A Type-OS Front Strut Tower Bar is a bolt-on chassis reinforcement brace designed for the 1993-2001 Nissan Skyline R33 and R34 platforms, as well as the Nissan Stagea WGNC34. By bridging the left and right front strut towers with a rigid aluminum bar, this brace reduces the chassis flex that occurs during aggressive cornering, high-speed lane changes, and transitions over uneven surfaces. The R33 and R34 Skyline are legendary platforms for drifting, time attack, and spirited street driving, and front chassis rigidity plays a critical role in delivering the precise steering feel and consistent handling that these applications demand.

The Type-OS uses Cusco's proven polished aluminum oval-section center bar with a Type-2 sectioned profile, which is engineered specifically for the R33/R34 strut tower spacing to deliver optimal torsional rigidity while keeping weight to a minimum. The steel end plate brackets are precision-formed for the Skyline's strut tower geometry and finished in Cusco's trademark blue powder coat. Installation is straightforward and uses the existing strut tower mounting hardware with no modification to the vehicle required - the bar bolts on in minutes using standard hand tools.

This strut bar fits all 2WD (rear-wheel-drive) R33 and R34 Skyline variants, including both the turbocharged GTS-t/25GT-T models and the naturally aspirated GTS25/25GT models. It also fits the Nissan Stagea WGNC34, which shares the same front strut tower mounting points. It does not fit the R33 GT-R (BNR33) or R34 GT-R (BNR34) due to their different AWD front subframe and strut tower configuration.
