Fitment Notes

• Bore size is 86.5mm (+0.5mm oversize) - block must be bored and honed to 86.5mm before installation; stock SR20 bore is 86.0mm
• SC7325PVD-4 is the PVD ring variant - identical piston to the standard SC7325-4 but supplied with a PVD-coated (Physical Vapor Deposition) turbo ring set in place of the standard gas-nitrided rings
• At 9.0:1 compression this piston is suited to moderate boost turbocharged SR20DET builds as well as naturally aspirated high-compression SR20DE applications

Product Description

The CP Pistons SC7325PVD-4 is a complete set of four forged aluminum pistons for the Nissan SR20DE and SR20DET inline-4, covering the full range of SR20-powered Nissan platforms including the S13/S14/S15 Silvia, 180SX, 200SX, Pulsar GTI-R, and Sentra SE-R. At 86.5mm (+0.5mm oversize) and 9.0:1 compression, this piston is well-suited to moderate to high-boost turbocharged SR20DET builds as well as high-compression naturally aspirated SR20DE builds. The slight dish crown (-8.2cc) produces the 9.0:1 ratio in the stock SR20 combustion chamber.

The PVD suffix designates that this kit is supplied with a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coated turbo ring set - 1.2mm top ring, 1.2mm second ring, and 2.0mm oil ring - rather than the standard gas-nitrided ring set included with the base SC7325-4. PVD coating is a harder, smoother surface treatment that delivers improved bore sealing, lower wall friction, and better resistance to blow-by under sustained high-boost conditions, making it the preferred ring choice for forced induction applications. The base piston is identical to the standard SC7325; only the ring package differs. All four pistons include 22mm wrist pins, ring sets, and wire locks for a complete assembly-ready kit.
