The Cometic C15548-052 is a premium MLX (Multi-Layer-Xtreme) cylinder head gasket designed for the right-hand side (passenger side) of the Ford 5.0L Gen-3 Coyote Modular V8 DOHC engine. With a 94.5mm stock bore diameter and .052" compressed thickness, this gasket delivers the highest level of sealing performance available for the Gen-3 Coyote platform. The MLX design features Cometic's proprietary stopper fold-over layer and HP Shim technology, which together create a torque-limiting combustion seal that resists yielding under extreme cylinder pressures - making it the top choice for supercharged, turbocharged, and nitrous-equipped Coyote builds where standard MLS gaskets may not provide adequate sealing.
