Product Description

The Cognito 110-90245 Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit addresses a long-standing weak point in the GM 1993-1998 steering system, where the center-link's pitman and idler arm joints wear out from a lack of forward-and-backward support. Cognito's utility-patented bracket design reinforces both connection points, correcting the root cause rather than just replacing worn parts with the same design that fails again.

It's built for both stock-height and lifted trucks running larger tires, provided the OE center-link remains in its factory location and the vehicle uses a 3-bolt idler arm. The result is tighter steering feel, longer component and tire life, and noticeably less driver fatigue from constant steering correction - a straightforward bolt-on upgrade for Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, and Suburban owners still running this steering setup.
