Product Description

The Carli Suspension CS-FRAD-05 Radius Arm Drop Bracket and Crossmember Kit is designed for 2005-2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks running Carli 4.5-inch or 5.5-inch front lift systems. When the front of a coil-sprung Super Duty is lifted 4.5 inches or more, the factory radius arm pivot point is left at its original location, pulling the radius arms to a steep upward angle. This incorrect geometry causes the front end to wander, compromises steering return-to-center, and creates an unstable driving experience at highway speeds. Carli's drop brackets lower the radius arm pivot point by 4.5 inches to restore the factory-correct arm angle, eliminating wander and producing stable, confident steering even on heavily lifted trucks with oversized tires.

Each bracket is fabricated from 1/4-inch steel plate that is laser cut for precision, CNC bent for exact fitment, and meticulously MIG welded for structural integrity. The included crossmember ties the two drop brackets together, providing additional rigidity at the new mounting location. The entire assembly is finished with a durable black powder coat to protect against corrosion from road salt, mud, and trail debris. Installation is a straightforward bolt-on process - no cutting, drilling, or welding is required, and the factory radius arm mounting points remain intact, allowing the truck to be returned to stock if needed.

These drop brackets are a standard component of every Carli 4.5-inch and 5.5-inch suspension system for the 2005-2016 Super Duty platform, including the Commuter, Backcountry, Pintop, Dominator, and Unchained packages. They work with both factory stamped-steel radius arms and Carli's fabricated adjustable radius arms. For trucks running a 2.5-inch leveling system, these brackets are not required. For 2017-2022 Super Duty trucks, Carli offers the CS-FRAD-17 variant, and for 2023 and newer trucks, the CS-FRAD-23 or CS-FRAD-LVL-2325 should be used to account for the updated fifth-generation frame and axle geometry.
