The Carli Suspension CS-DMRC-14-R2 HD Multi-Rate Rear Coil Springs are the highest-capacity performance rear coils available for the 2014-2025 Ram 2500 4WD platform. Designed to pair with Carli's 3.25-inch front lift systems, these coils provide 2 to 3 inches of rear lift depending on cab and bed configuration while maintaining full factory payload capacity. They are built for trucks that carry constant loads in the 600-800 lb range - such as toolboxes, flatbeds, camper shells, or other persistent bed weight - and have been load tested to 2,500 lbs to ensure they will not bottom out or lose composure under heavy payload.

The multi-rate design operates in two stages. At ride height under normal load, the softer initial rate keeps the ride compliant and comfortable on the highway. As the rear axle droops during off-road driving or suspension articulation, the secondary rate engages to keep the coils seated on their perches and allow the rear shocks to cycle through their full stroke. This dual-rate behavior produces up to 11 inches of rear suspension travel - the maximum achievable on the 2014+ Ram 2500 rear coil platform - resulting in a dramatic improvement in ride quality and wheel control over both factory coils and traditional aftermarket lift springs.

These coils are a component of numerous Carli suspension packages, including the Commuter, Backcountry, Pintop, and Dominator systems for both diesel and Hemi-equipped Ram 2500 trucks. For trucks that do not carry constant payload and prioritize the softest possible empty ride, Carli offers the R1 coil (CS-DMRC-14-R1), which provides 1 inch of rear lift at a reduced payload capacity. For trucks that need to tow or haul beyond the coils' constant load rating without sacrificing travel, Carli recommends adding their full-travel airbag kit for supplemental load support.
