The Brembo 09.A198.21 is a rear Prime UV Coated brake rotor engineered as a direct OEM replacement for the 2017-2020 Subaru BRZ and 2017-2021 Toyota 86 (GT86) models equipped with the factory Brembo Performance Package brake system. Built to Brembo's OEM-equivalent standards, this 316mm vented rotor is constructed from high-carbon cast iron for improved thermal stability, reduced vibration, and quieter operation compared to standard-grade alternatives. The full UV coating - applied to the entire rotor surface including internal vents - protects against corrosion and eliminates the need for brake cleaner prep before installation.

This rotor is a trim-specific fitment - it is designed exclusively for the rear Brembo caliper setup found on the factory Performance Package. Vehicles with standard (non-Brembo) rear brakes use a different, smaller rotor and are not compatible with this part. For best results, Brembo recommends replacing rotors and pads together, pairing this rotor with Brembo NAO/Ceramic or Low-Met brake pad formulations. This rotor is sold individually; two units are required for a complete rear axle service.
