Product Description

The Brembo 09.9772.1X is a front Xtra cross-drilled brake rotor engineered for Audi and Volkswagen platforms sharing the MQB and PQ35/PQ46 chassis architectures. The cross-drilled holes on the braking surface accelerate heat evacuation and gas expulsion, improving initial bite and fade resistance during spirited driving or repeated hard stops. Built from high-carbon cast iron, the rotor is inherently more resistant to thermal cracking and distortion than standard-grade iron rotors, and the solvent-free UV coating shields every surface - including the internal vents - from corrosion before and after installation.

Designed as a direct OEM replacement, the 09.9772.1X installs without modification using the included fixing screw kit and matches the factory 312mm front disc specification. For best results, Brembo recommends replacing rotors and brake pads together, pairing this rotor with Brembo NAO/Ceramic or Low-Met brake pad formulations to maximize stopping performance and pad-to-rotor compatibility. This rotor is sold individually; two units are required for a complete front axle service.
