Fitment Notes

• Front caster/camber plates only - replaces the factory upper strut mounts at both front strut towers. Sold as a pair.
• 100% bolt-on installation using the factory bolt holes in the strut tower. No drilling, cutting, or welding required. Compatible with stock struts and factory-style aftermarket struts.
• 2011-2014 Mustang compatibility is conditional: the WAK751 will fit 2011-2014 S197 Mustangs only when they are running 2005-2010 GT500 upper strut mounts (top hats) and corresponding struts. Owners building a 2011-2014 with 2005-2010 strut components for coilover or suspension swap purposes will find this plate compatible. Do not order for a 2011-2014 Mustang with factory strut assemblies.
• Alignment should be performed after installation to dial in desired caster and camber values.

Features

• Adds front caster and camber adjustability that the factory S197 upper strut mounts cannot provide - the factory strut mounts use rubber bushings with fixed geometry that allow minimal camber adjustment and zero caster adjustment. Lowering the S197 pushes the front suspension outside the factory alignment range, creating negative camber and caster values that cannot be corrected with factory hardware. The WAK751 replaces the factory upper mount entirely with an adjustable plate that restores alignment control and expands it beyond factory limits.
• 1.75 degrees of total camber adjustment - provides enough range to correct camber on moderately to significantly lowered S197 Mustangs and to dial in aggressive negative camber settings for autocross and road race applications where maximum front grip is desired.
• Adds caster adjustability not available from the factory - caster affects steering stability, straight-line tracking, and self-centering behavior. Factory S197 caster is fixed and cannot be adjusted with stock hardware. The WAK751 adds the ability to adjust caster, allowing owners to optimize front end feel for their specific driving application - more caster for better high-speed stability and steering return; less caster for lighter steering feel at lower speeds.
• Teflon-lined spherical bearings replace the factory rubber strut mount bushings - rubber bushings compress under load and introduce vertical compliance and noise into the strut mount. Spherical bearings provide a true pivot point with zero deflection, transmitting suspension forces more directly and accurately while allowing full range of motion without binding.
• CNC laser-cut steel plate construction provides long-term durability in the high-load strut mount environment - the strut top mount is subject to significant vertical and lateral loads during both normal driving and performance use. Heavy-duty laser-cut steel is the appropriate material for this application.
• Works with stock and factory-style aftermarket struts - no strut replacement required; the WAK751 installs over the existing strut shaft using the factory upper hardware.
• Reduces unwanted tire wear caused by excessive negative camber after lowering - correcting camber with the WAK751 restores the tire contact patch to a more optimal angle, reducing inner-edge tire wear common on lowered S197s.

The BMR WAK751H is a pair of front caster/camber plates for the 2005-2010 Ford Mustang S197 and 2007-2010 Shelby GT500, finished in Black Hammertone powder coat. Built from CNC laser-cut steel with Teflon-lined spherical bearings, they replace the factory upper strut mounts to add both camber and caster adjustability that the factory hardware cannot provide - a necessary upgrade for any S197 that has been lowered beyond the factory alignment adjustment range.
