Its glass-fiber reinforced construction handles significantly more heat than the factory cover - rated to 482°F - while resisting the oils, fuels, and solvents commonly encountered under the hood.

Included in the kit is Banks' billet Revolver oil cap, a durable upgrade over the factory plastic cap that's known to crack and fail over time. Since this cover mounts specifically to the Monster-Ram intake and uses the factory EGR mounting point, confirm your Cummins still has the EGR cooler in place before ordering - non-EGR trucks require the alternate PN 42813 cover instead.
