Product Description

The ATS Diesel 304-910-3104 Billet Input Shaft is a critical internal upgrade for 1989-2010 Ford Super Duty trucks equipped with the E4OD, 4R100, or 5R110 automatic transmission. As the first hard component to receive power from the torque converter, the input shaft is under enormous stress in high-power and heavy towing applications - well beyond what the factory forged shaft was designed for.

ATS's billet steel design doesn't simply add strength; it adds torsional flexibility. By allowing the shaft to rotate further before breaking, it absorbs sudden torque spikes that would otherwise snap the stock shaft and destroy internal transmission components. Recommended for any truck running over 400 HP, it's an essential foundation piece for anyone building a serious E4OD, 4R100, or 5R110-based drivetrain.
