Product Description

The ATS Diesel 202-302-2392 Aurora 3000 VFR (Variable Factory Replacement) Stage 1 Turbocharger is a direct drop-in upgrade for the 2013-2018 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins. It is designed to address the most common failure points of the factory Holset VGT turbocharger - specifically warped or stuck vanes caused by factory unison ring material limitations - while retaining complete OEM functionality with no tuning, deletes, or modifications required. The billet 316 stainless steel unison rings are the centerpiece of the upgrade: unlike the factory rings prone to thermal distortion at high EGTs, these rings maintain consistent, full-range vane actuation throughout the turbo's service life.

The all-new solid-state actuator and updated electronics eliminate the need for the periodic cleaning intervals required by the factory actuator, delivering a 100% maintenance-free unit. A 60mm 7x7 SlimHub billet compressor wheel, HSM bearing and turbine housings, ceramic-coated turbine housing, and powder-coated compressor housing round out the build.
