Fitment Notes

• Fits the 7-bolt 4G63 crankshaft flywheel pattern (1993+) ONLY - does not fit the 6-bolt 4G63 used in 1990-1992 DSM models
• Does not fit Lancer Evolution IV through IX (these use a different flywheel bolt pattern - see ARP 107-2802 or 107-2803)
• Do NOT use washers - these bolts are engineered for direct installation without washers; using washers will void ARP's warranty and may cause failure
• Flywheel bolt holes must have adequate chamfer to clear the underhead radius of each bolt
• Replaces OEM Mitsubishi part numbers MD302074 and MD169913

Product Description

The ARP 107-2801 is a Pro Series flywheel bolt kit designed specifically for the Mitsubishi 7-bolt 4G63 engine used in the 2G DSM Eclipse, Eagle Talon, Plymouth Laser, and JDM Lancer Evolution I through III. This kit fits the 1993+ 7-bolt crankshaft flywheel flange - it is not compatible with the 6-bolt 4G63 found in early 1990-1992.5 DSM models. OEM flywheel bolts on the 4G63 are prone to loosening under aggressive clutch engagement and high-boost operation, making this ARP upgrade a standard step in any clutch or flywheel installation on these platforms.

Forged from 8740 chromoly alloy and rated at 200,000 psi, these bolts provide the clamping force needed to keep the flywheel firmly seated under any power level or driving condition. The flat 12-point head simplifies installation in tight spaces, and the centerless ground shank ensures perpendicular load distribution across all seven bolt positions.
