The Old Man Emu 63070 Nitrocharger Plus is a vehicle-specific front shock absorber engineered for the Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series (1990-1997), Land Cruiser 100 Series (1998-2007), and Lexus LX450 (1996-1997). Developed and tuned by OME's ride control engineers in Australia, this shock delivers a balanced blend of on-road comfort and off-road capability - purpose-built for heavy loads, towing, and extended touring across challenging terrain. Its twin-tube construction with a heavy-gauge 1.6mm steel reserve tube provides outstanding protection against stone strikes and trail abuse, while the 18mm induction-hardened chrome piston rod handles the stresses of loaded 4WD use with ease.

The Nitrocharger Plus replaces the legacy OME 60070 and is best paired with OME vehicle-specific coil springs for a fully integrated suspension upgrade. Multi-deflective disc valving on both compression and rebound sides ensures precise damping control tuned to the unique characteristics of the 80 and 100 Series platforms. Sold individually - two shocks are required for a full front axle replacement. Note: LX470 and 100 Series models with Active Height Control (AHC) may require system modification prior to installation.
