The Old Man Emu 2948 is a set of rear lift coil springs engineered specifically for the 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty KJ. Unlike generic lift springs focused solely on ride height, OME designs these springs primarily around load carrying capacity and ride control - the ~1.5 in. of rear lift is a result of the correct spring rate rather than the goal itself. With a spring rate of 200 lbf/in versus the OEM 150 lbs/in, the 2948 provides a firmer, more controlled rear stance that handles the additional weight of accessories, cargo, and off-road use without sacrificing daily ride comfort.

Each spring is formed on CNC precision mandrels, double scragged, and shot peened to prevent sag and fatigue over the long term. The black powder coat finish resists corrosion on and off road. For the best suspension balance, OME recommends pairing these rear springs with matching Old Man Emu rear shock absorbers and front coil springs, creating a fully integrated suspension system designed and tested for the Liberty KJ platform.
