• Required ONLY for 2021 Tesla Model S Refresh Model owners. The 2021 Refresh introduced a revised tail light wiring configuration that is not directly compatible with AlphaRex's 12-21 LUXX-Series Tail Lights without this converter.
• Not required for 2012-2020 Tesla Model S (pre-refresh) - those models install directly without a converter.
• This converter is also sold as an add-on bundle paired with select AlphaRex tail light SKUs (e.g., 601130). Purchase separately only if not already included with your tail light order.

The AlphaRex 601101 is a dedicated wiring converter kit for 2021 Tesla Model S Refresh Model owners installing AlphaRex 12-21 LUXX-Series LED Tail Lights. Tesla's 2021 Refresh introduced a different rear wiring configuration that requires this bridge harness to ensure all tail light functions operate correctly. Without it, the tail lights will not properly interface with the Refresh model's electrical system.

Installation is plug-and-play - no cutting, splicing, or programming required. Each kit includes two converter harnesses, one for each side. This converter is also available as a bundle add-on when purchasing select AlphaRex Model S tail light SKUs, so verify whether it is already included before ordering separately.
