The AlphaRex 210010 is the DoubleTap Dual Color LED Projector Fog Light set for the 2017-2023 Tesla Model 3 and 2020-2024 Tesla Model Y. Like the universal 210002 kit, the 210010 solves the white-versus-yellow fog light debate with the DoubleTap dual-output system - but the 210010 is purpose-built for the Tesla platform and includes features not found in the universal version, most notably an integrated white LED DRL tube that transitions to amber for turn signal duty. This addition brings a premium, full-featured lighting appearance to the front corners of the Model 3 and Model Y that the stock fog lights simply do not deliver.

The DoubleTap switching mechanism on this product is calibrated for Tesla's unique control architecture: rather than toggling the fog lights off and on (as on the universal 210002), switching between white and yellow on the 210010 is accomplished by flashing the high beam on and off twice within a 5-second window. This is how Tesla allows accessory lighting to be controlled without dedicated physical fog light switches. Both colors are powered by dedicated AlphaRex LUXX LED chips - 6500K white for clean, bright output in clear conditions, and 3000K yellow for superior fog, rain, and dust penetration when visibility is compromised.

Installation varies based on factory headlight type. Vehicles with factory Matrix (projector) headlights install in a plug-and-play fashion with no decoder needed. Vehicles with factory reflector headlights require the decoder module (210081, sold separately) to interface with Tesla's software, particularly for software versions above 2023.32.4.
