The Sparco 008025ZNR QRT-C is a fixed-back competition racing seat built entirely from Pre-Preg aerospace-grade carbon fiber - the same Dry Carbon construction method used in Formula 1 and aerospace applications - making it the all-carbon version of Sparco's QRT-R fiberglass seat and the lightest FIA-homologated large-size carbon fiber seat available on the market. At approximately 12.5 lbs fully trimmed, the QRT-C delivers meaningful weight savings over comparable carbon fiber and fiberglass competition seats while meeting the occupant protection and material fire-resistance requirements of FIA 8855-1999 homologation. The seat was designed using advanced CAD modeling at Sparco's OEM Composite Laboratory in Turin, Italy, with a specific engineering brief: create a seat suited to a large driver - up to 36 in. waist - that can still be installed in the narrow cockpits of compact racing cars, single-seaters, and small-platform vehicles that would typically exclude a seat of this size.

The QRT-C's shell geometry achieves this through a carefully profiled narrow upper section that reduces lateral intrusion at shoulder and hip height without compromising the containment structure needed to meet FIA standards. Non-slip fabric at the shoulder area and seat base replaces some of the lateral work typically assigned to harness tension, holding the driver in position under sustained high-G loads and improving feedback from the seat. The 2-part divided lower cushion and medium lumbar support allow independent adjustment of lower leg and back contact for drivers of varying proportions. Five harness slots support correct routing of multi-point competition harness systems across a wide range of driver heights.
