The updated shell is manufactured using Sparco's patented QRT (Quick Resin Technology), an aerospace-derived composite process developed at Sparco's OEM Composite Laboratory in Italy. QRT reduces total weight by up to 30% compared to conventional fiberglass construction while maintaining full FIA 8855-1999 certification. The result is an ultra-light shell that provides the performance of a carbon fiber seat at fiberglass pricing.

The PRO 2000 QRT features Sparco's deepest side bolstering for maximum lateral containment, along with removable lumbar cushions, non-slip shoulder and base fabric, and raised harness openings for improved multi-point harness routing.
