  • Sold as a complete rear upgrade kit - includes all brackets and hardware

Features

  • HQ Series coil-overs use impact-forged aluminum monotube bodies for excellent ride quality and fade-free damping - rebound adjustment knob provides precise tuning of compression/rebound response
  • Rear lower StrongArm trailing arms replace the OEM stamped steel arms with a tubular design that uses R-Joint rod ends for smooth operation and reduced roll bind during suspension travel
  • Double shear lower coil-over mount on the StrongArms keeps the load in the correct position - increases structural strength and properly locates the coil-over in the factory spring pocket location
  • Hyperco coil springs with a consistent application-matched spring rate are included - engineered for long-term rate stability and consistent ride quality
  • HQ Series coilovers backed by Ridetech's exclusive 1,000,001-Mile Warranty

Product Description

The Ridetech 11056210 is a rear HQ coil-over upgrade kit specifically engineered for the 1958-1964 Chevrolet B-Body platform - covering the Impala, Bel Air, Biscayne, Brookwood, and associated wagon and El Camino variants. The kit replaces the stock rear coil springs and trailing arms with tubular lower StrongArms and HQ Series coil-over shocks, converting the rear suspension to a far more capable coil-over setup that delivers a lowered stance with dramatically improved handling and ride quality.

The lower StrongArm trailing arms use R-Joint rod ends for smooth operation and reduced roll bind, with a double shear coil-over mount that positions the HQ shock in place of the factory spring. The HQ Series coil-overs are built around impact-forged aluminum monotube bodies with 1.834" pistons and heavy-duty 5/8" shafts, providing consistent, adjustable damping backed by Ridetech's 1,000,001-mile warranty. Hyperco springs with a pre-matched spring rate are included. To complete the rear suspension upgrade, the rear upper StrongArms (part #11066698) and an adjustable panhard bar (part #11069000) are available separately and are recommended for optimal geometry and axle centering.
