• For 2-piece frames only - if your car has a 1-piece (California) frame, use part #11020201 (coilover) or #11020298 (air suspension) instead. To identify: a 2-piece frame has a rough weld seam running down the bottom center of the main frame rail under the driver's door. A 1-piece frame has a flat, smooth bottom in that area
• Tall 2" Drop Spindles are included in this kit - no separate spindle purchase required
• Rear 4-Link requires minimal welding to the axle tube only - no major floor pan modifications required
• Front wheel alignment is strongly recommended after installation

Product Description

The Ridetech 11030201 is a complete HQ coil-over suspension system for 1955-1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, Two-Ten, and One-Fifty models built on a 2-piece frame. It replaces the entire front and rear suspension with properly engineered, matched components - eliminating the guesswork of sourcing compatible parts individually and delivering a system optimized for the Tri-Five platform out of the box. The four-corner HQ Series single-adjustable coil-overs provide tunable rebound damping at each corner, while the pre-matched spring rates (600 lbs/in front, 200 lbs/in rear) are dialed in for a balanced street and performance driving experience.

The corrected-geometry StrongArm control arms and included 2" tall drop spindles work together to improve negative camber gain, raise the roll center, and add caster - producing noticeably sharper turn-in and more stable high-speed tracking than stock geometry. Out back, the Bolt-On 4-Link with R-Joint rod ends transforms the rear suspension into a fully linked system with far better traction and articulation, requiring only minimal axle tube welding. The splined front MuscleBar sway bar and PosiLink end links complete the package by minimizing body roll and eliminating the slack of conventional sway bar connections.
