Fitment Notes

• 2007-2013 models: fits 4WD configurations ONLY - the GMT900-generation Silverado/Sierra 1500 in 2WD (RWD) used a torsion bar front suspension and does not have struts; the ZONC4201 applies exclusively to the 4WD strut-based front suspension on these years
• 2014-2018 models: fits both 2WD (RWD) and 4WD - the K2XX-generation Silverado/Sierra 1500 uses a strut-based front suspension on both drivetrains
• Will NOT fit models equipped with Adaptive Ride Control (ARC) - ARC (Magnetic Ride Control) is found on select Denali and High Country trims; these trucks require a strut spacer kit rather than a loaded strut replacement

The Zone Offroad ZONC4201 is a 2-inch Nitro Loaded Strut for the 2007-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. As a fully pre-assembled loaded strut, it replaces the factory front strut assembly entirely - strut body, coil spring, and OEM-style top and bottom mounts all in one unit - rather than stacking a spacer on top of the existing strut. This distinction matters for ride quality: spacer-based leveling kits displace the factory spring geometry and often introduce added stress on the upper strut bushing, while a loaded strut replacement maintains the correct spring and damper relationship at the new ride height.
