The Zone Offroad ZONC5651 is a front crossmember skid plate engineered for the 2007-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 when equipped with a Zone Offroad 4.5-inch or 6.5-inch suspension lift system. At stock ride height, the factory plastic splash guard adequately protects the front crossmember area from light debris and road splash. But when a 4.5-inch or 6.5-inch lift raises the truck, the front axle and crossmember geometry shifts and the area underneath becomes exposed to a different threat profile - rocks, trail debris, and impact hazards that the factory plastic guard was never designed to handle. The ZONC5651 directly addresses this by replacing that plastic guard with a plate formed from 10-gauge high-strength steel, shaped specifically to the crossmember contours of these GM 1500 trucks at the lifted height created by Zone Offroad's 4.5-inch and 6.5-inch systems.
