The Yukon Gear & Axle YC D706008 is a new standard open carrier case built specifically for the Dana Spicer 30 front differential with 3.73 and numerically higher gear ratios. Precision-cast from high-strength steel and machined to tight tolerances, this carrier serves as the structural core of your differential, providing the foundation for your spider gears, side gears, and ring and pinion gear set. It is an ideal solution for rebuilding a worn or damaged Dana 30 due to stripped ring gear threads, a cracked case, or a ratio swap upgrade.

Covering decades of Jeep platforms - from the classic CJ series and Cherokee XJ through the Wrangler YJ, TJ, and JK - as well as select Ford, AMC, Lincoln, Mercury, and vintage Volvo applications, this carrier offers broad compatibility across the Dana 30 axle family. Spider gears are not included, giving you the flexibility to install OEM-spec Yukon spider gears or drop in an aftermarket lunchbox locker for improved traction. JK Wrangler owners should note that stock JK spider gears are not compatible with this case.
