The Yukon YY GM3872922 is a replacement inner stub side flange yoke for the 1963-1979 Chevrolet Corvette C2 and C3, designed to mate with the independent rear suspension (IRS) differential carrier. The factory stub axles on these Corvettes were manufactured from a relatively soft steel alloy, making them susceptible to wear at the retaining clip groove over time. Once worn past the clip, the assembly can shift laterally - causing rear alignment issues, tire wear, and the characteristic "clutch chatter" common to high-mileage C2/C3 differentials.
