The Yukon YG TV6-488-29 is a high-performance 4.88:1 ring and pinion gear set for the Toyota V6 8" rear differential with 29-spline pinion. Fitting a wide range of Toyota trucks and SUVs including Tacoma, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, T100, Tundra, and Lexus GX470, this gear set is ideal for restoring power after upgrading to larger tires or optimizing traction for off-road use.

Precision heat-treated with optimized tooth surface finish for reduced friction, quiet operation, and strong load capacity. Does NOT fit factory 4.88 housings as Toyota used a proprietary thin ring gear and offset pinion in those applications. Installation kit and pinion nut (YSPPN-024) must be purchased separately. Eligible for Yukon's Y.E.S. Plan lifetime protection.
