The Yukon YDS001 is a heavy-duty front driveshaft engineered specifically for the 2007-2011 Jeep Wrangler JK, fitting both 2-door and 4-door (Unlimited) models across all trim levels - including Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon - with automatic and manual transmissions. The factory JK front driveshaft is a common weak point on lifted and modified Wranglers, and the YDS001 addresses that directly with a high-strength steel tube, upgraded yokes, and a double cardan constant velocity (CV) joint at the transfer case end that dramatically reduces vibration and improves operating angles under suspension articulation.

This complete driveshaft assembly is recommended for JK builds running stock ride height through 4.5" of lift with up to 35" tires - covering the vast majority of common JK builds. The double cardan CV joint at the transfer case end reduces the angle at which power is transferred, eliminating the binding and vibration that often plagues lifted JKs using the stock single U-joint driveshaft. The 1310 U-joint at the differential end provides heavy-duty strength rated well above OEM specification. Note that a pinion flange replacement is required and must be purchased separately, as the new pinion yoke included with this kit replaces the factory flange.
