The Yukon YHC50007 Hardcore Drive Flange Kit is a direct replacement for the factory internal manual locking hubs on Dana 44 front axles equipped with 19-spline outer stub axles. Locking hubs are a well-known failure point on older GM trucks and off-road rigs - the internal engagement splines and pawls wear, break, or fail to engage under stress, leaving you without front 4WD when you need it most. Yukon's solid drive flanges eliminate that weak link entirely by creating a permanent, full-time mechanical connection between the outer stub axle and the wheel hub.

Each flange is precision-machined for a direct fit on the 19-spline Dana 44 outer stub and includes Yukon engraved caps that finish the installation cleanly. The full hardware kit means no separate fastener sourcing is required. This upgrade is especially popular on rock crawlers, trail rigs, and restored classic 4x4 trucks where locking hub reliability is critical. Note that converting to drive flanges means both front wheels are continuously engaged with the front axle - a trade-off to be aware of for on-road use.
