The Yukon Gear & Axle YHCC-GM14T-S Hardcore Differential Cover is built specifically for early-style GM 10.5" 14-bolt full-floating rear axles equipped with 3/8" cover bolts (1973-1988). Constructed from thick-walled nodular iron, this cover delivers a massive upgrade in protection over the factory stamped steel unit - defending your gears, locker, and axle shafts from trail impacts, rocks, and debris that can crack or destroy a stock cover mid-run.

Beyond impact protection, the YHCC-GM14T-S enhances differential rigidity to reduce housing flex under severe torque loads, which helps maintain proper gear mesh and extends the life of internal components. Its contoured inner surfaces encourage more rapid oil circulation for faster heat dissipation, making it ideal for towing, hauling, and extended off-road use. The included magnetic drain plug continuously captures metallic wear particles, helping keep your gear oil clean between service intervals.

Installation is straightforward - the cover uses the factory 14-bolt mounting pattern with the included 3/8" high-strength steel fasteners and pre-cut gasket.
