Fitment Notes

• Does NOT fit Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon models - Rubicon uses a factory electronic locking Dana 44 with a different carrier configuration
• Does NOT fit 2012-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Non-Rubicon models equipped with an automatic transmission - the automatic transmission models use a different carrier spline configuration not compatible with this unit
• 2012-2018 models with stability control (ESC) may require aftermarket ECU tuning to prevent codes or limp mode after installation
• This unit is drilled for 1/2" ring gear bolts - verify your ring gear bolt size before ordering
• Compatible with all gear ratios for the non-Rubicon JK Dana 44 rear axle
• Carrier bearings are not included and must be purchased separately

Product Description

The Yukon YGLD44-3-30-JK Grizzly Locker is a full carrier replacement mechanical locking differential engineered specifically for the non-Rubicon Jeep Wrangler JK's Dana 44 rear axle with 30-spline axle shafts. Unlike the Rubicon's factory electronic locker, non-Rubicon JK owners get an open differential from the factory - this Grizzly Locker eliminates that limitation entirely. It delivers 100% of available torque to both rear wheels simultaneously, making it the ideal upgrade for rock crawling, trail running, and off-road competition. Its patented clutch tooth design features a larger radius at the base of each tooth, providing up to 350% greater shear strength than conventional back-cut designs, and enlarged teeth that resist breakage under the shock loads common in serious wheeling.

The Grizzly Locker operates automatically - locking when a wheel speed difference is detected side-to-side, and disengaging during cornering for safe, normal drivability on and off the trail. The forged case and 8620 alloy internals are built to handle the demands of a lifted, regeared JK running oversized tires. Note that this locker is not compatible with 2012-2018 JK models equipped with an automatic transmission, and 2012+ models with stability control may require aftermarket ECU tuning. Carrier bearings are sold separately. Assembled and quality-tested in the USA.
