Product Description

The Wiseco K563M815AP is a Professional Series forged piston and ring kit for the VW/Audi 1.8T 20V (1988-1999, 20mm pin) and VW 1.8L 8V (1983-1992 Golf/Jetta). At 81.50mm, this is a +0.5mm overbore over the stock 81.0mm bore, requiring cylinder boring and honing prior to installation. The -7cc dish crown produces approximately 9.7:1 compression at stock stroke, with ring land and crown geometry engineered specifically for turbocharged, supercharged, and nitrous applications.

Construction is 2618 forged aluminum -- the preferred alloy for high-boost builds due to its superior ductility and fatigue resistance under thermal cycling. ArmorGlide skirt coating reduces friction and resists seizure. Important: 2000+ 1.8T engines use a 19mm wrist pin and are not compatible with this kit. Premium rings, pins, and clips included.
