Product Description

The Wiseco K565M82 is a Pro Tru Sport Compact piston and ring kit engineered specifically for the Toyota 2ZZ-GE 1.8L 16-valve engine, covering the Celica GT-S, Corolla XRS, Matrix XRS, Pontiac Vibe GT, and Lotus Elise/Exige S2 platforms. At 82mm -- the factory standard bore -- this kit is a direct replacement for worn OEM pistons or a foundation for a rebuilt performance engine. The 8.9:1 dish crown (-16.0cc) is designed to work with the 2ZZ-GE's high-revving VVT-i Lift system (VVTL-i) and is compatible with factory forced induction and naturally aspirated builds alike.

Each piston is forged from a dedicated blank specific to the final piston shape -- making them significantly stronger and lighter than OEM castings. The ArmorGlide skirt coating reduces friction and wear during break-in and throughout service life. Pre-gapped plasma moly rings, wrist pins, and pin locks are all included for a complete assembly-ready kit. Lotus Elise and Exige applications require the block to be sleeved to 82mm prior to installation. Professional engine assembly is required. Replacement rings are Wiseco 8200XX.
