The Wiseco K597M855 is a Pro Tru Sport Compact series forged piston set engineered specifically for the 7-bolt Generation 2 Mitsubishi 4G63 2.0L turbo engine found in the Eclipse, Talon, and Laser. Forged from 2618 high strength aluminum alloy and machined on state-of-the-art equipment, this set is built stronger and lighter than a standard cast piston, giving engine builders a durable foundation for serious turbocharged power.

Each piston features ArmorGlide skirt coating for seizure resistance, reduced friction, and quieter operation, along with precision-machined ring grooves for consistent sealing across the piston's service life. The dish design lowers compression to suit forced induction builds, and the set ships complete with a plasma moly 1/16, 1/16, 3/16 pre-gapped ring package for excellent seal, reduced friction, and long service life.

This piston set is intended for engine builders performing a full rebuild or forced induction upgrade on a 7-bolt 4G63 block who need a proven, race-ready forged piston at a strong value. Tool steel wrist pins with a 0.200-inch wall thickness are included; this set is not compatible with 6-bolt 4G63 blocks, which require a different piston and pin specification.
