Product Description

The Wilwood 260-15048 is a Combination Proportioning Valve and Right-Hand Mounting Bracket Kit engineered as a complete, bolt-on solution for mounting and connecting a proportioning valve to Wilwood's aluminum tandem master cylinder lineup. Designed to answer the common question of where and how to mount a combination proportioning valve in a custom or restomod brake system, this kit includes everything needed to install, connect, and adjust rear brake bias between the tandem master cylinder and the rear brake circuit -- with no custom fabrication, bending, or machining required. The kit includes Wilwood's Combination Proportioning Valve (260-11179) with a knob-style adjuster capable of reducing rear brake circuit pressure from zero up to 57% of input pressure, giving the builder precise control over front-to-rear brake bias across a wide range of driving and load conditions. Two precision-bent stainless steel fluid tubes route directly from the master cylinder outlets to the proportioning valve with pre-installed stainless steel tube nuts, providing a clean, leak-resistant connection that installs in minutes. The right-hand black e-coated steel mounting bracket positions the valve in the optimal location relative to the master cylinder, secured with stainless steel button head fasteners for a clean, durable finish. The 260-15048 is compatible with Wilwood Aluminum Tandem Master Cylinders 260-8555, 260-8556, 260-9439, 260-12900, and 260-13375 in both manual and boosted system configurations. The inlet and outlet ports use 3/8-24 IF fittings throughout. For installations requiring an adapter, companion fitting 220-17793 (7/16-24 IF to 3/8-24 IF) is available separately.
